We were going to go to the Mexican restaurant right across the plaza but it was slam full on a Tuesday around 6 at night. Surprised, we saw Vesuvio's and decided to give it a chance instead of wait. We had some bread with balsamic, olive oil and spices which was delicious according to the wife. I ate none of it so I'll take her word for it, and she loves her crusty but soft inside bread. She got a child's portion of the Chicken Alfredo, which was as good as any we've had before. I had a bowl of Chicken Spinach Soup and decided to roll the dice on the Chicken Marsala, and it all hit the spot. Soup delivered for what it said it was. The Marsala though, was sweet and savory with the provolone and parmesan adding a slight saltiness. It was served with spaghetti, which was well cooked, but I can't help but think it would have been better with mashed potatoes. I'd still order it again because it was some of the best I've had. Restaurant is quaint and cozy with very nice servers who are for the most part attentive. We had no complaints on the whole.

Our friends bring us here for dinner, and I’ve got my Hawaiian pizza that Filipino loves having( home taste). So far, everything is good.

This place is a hidden treat. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza large. The bread was a tasty and crisp crust with a nice flavor with good toppings. Nothing about the experience was short of great. No one was there so made for a great service but people continued to come in for takeout. Recommend when in the area.

We had a very nice Friday night dinner at a relatively early time (5:45). The bread was warm and delicious, especially with the olive oil & balsamic vinegar. My wife had a chicken special with a creamy sauce; my mother had a grouper special that included shrimp and scallops; I had the classic chicken piccata. All 3 were excellent, with tasty sauces and complementary pasta. Our house and Greek salads were also great. We finished by sharing a slice of limencello cake, which was absolutely perfect. Our 3 wines (both of their offered chiantis, plus a Lambrusco) were quite good, too. Service was friendly and reasonably timed, although it could have been a tad bit more quick--but they were quite busy, so we certainly understood. Overall, a very pleasant meal.

We are very pleased with this place. My husband and I ate there today for our first time. Shawna was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere and the food was absolutely amazing!! Also, their homemade bread was so delicious that we paid for another loaf to go home with us! We definitely will be back and we recommend this place 100%!! Stacy Deaver-Dickson

What an absolute gem this place is. I’m in town for a few days and haven’t been thrilled with the food options around. I called in to order and was pleasantly surprised by how many gluten free options they offered. I picked up an order of Putanesca pasta and an order of bruschetta. Both were fantastic and I am thrilled that they also have a quality gluten free bread option. 5/5 stars all day and will most likely return for lunch tomorrow. If you have a gluten allergy and are searching for Italian cuisine, this is THE place. Thank you!
